As part of the greyhound racing industry’s re-entry into the NSW market after being banned by the Baird Government in 2015, they needed to meet certain benchmarks through the development of strong commercial and welfare frameworks.

Red Gorilla was tasked with developing a commercial sales and sponsorship activation framework that GRNSW could leverage to more deeply engage with big brands and offer incentives for industry participants.

We developed a strong ambassadorial program that engaged top Australian sportspeople to promote regional racing, and developed & actioned a commercial sales function that resulted in direct engagement with major Australian brands on behalf of GRNSW.

Our deep knowledge of media also ensured that this commercial strategy was underpinned by a well thought out, efficient media plan that drove value across racing and welfare initiatives being promoted by GRNSW.
